You Change On The Outside, Stay The Same On The Inside

Here's my new hair cut!! My dead really damaged, treated hair needed a trim and I really like how it came out. Of course what's a hair cut without the weeping over loss of length! I want my long hair back!! But soon it will grow out again and this time much healthier! I barely have any ombre/color at the ends of my hair it must have faded fast or grew out completly! It's alright, I'm done with killing my hair. For now I'll stick to my dark curly locks.
Next time I'll get in your face bangs! :D

I'll Stand Up For You: Nerds

Hey everyone! I always wondered how I would look with glasses and these rayban style are definitely my type! I like the oversize look and the tortous color is cute. But a side from that I wanted to let you guys know that these long locks are getting chopped today! So I will post a second time today to show you all how I cut my hair this time around.
If you all were wondering I think my hair length is about 24 inches. I don't want to cut the length of it at all but I MUST trim those burnt ends and get some layers maybe. Hopefully I love it once I get out of the salon. Stay tuned! :D

If you're wondering about the title... Have you seen the trailer for the new Anti Bully movie coming out in theatres? I found it so sad and still inspirational. I hope you do too. Here's the link: Bully

The Girl On Fire

On Monday night I finally saw The Hunger Games, which was amazing! I loved the movie much better than the book (which I had a feeling I would.) We have to keep in mind though that it is just a movie so my expectations weren't too high. The movie was great and Jennifer Lawrence did a great job playing the chracter of Katniss Everdeen.
So if you couldn't tell I got pretty inspired and dressed up like the girl on fire! Simple braid, black tee, black pants and a red jacket. It's not exactly an outfit she wore in the movie but hey my little twist on it. Can't wait for next year to see what she brings to Catching Fire!

The Town Fair

Hey everyone! Every year around this time I head out to the county Fair with all the friends, have a good time riding the rides and eating all the yummy fair food! This year I wore a nice blouse tank in a soft pink/peach color and some jean shorts with my converse. I curled my hair though I had to tie it up after arriving at the fair. Here are a few pictures for you guys to share the experience with me!

Is there a County Fair in your city?

Inspiration Of The Day: Demi Lovato

Demi has really changed over the past five years is it? I remember first seeing her in the Disney movie with the Jonas Brothers, Camp Rock! She has an amazing voice and has proved it time and time again. Her past has made her stronger and more beautiful. She's a great role model for young girls who are going through hard times in their lives.
I adore her hair in these shots! I love the reddish blonde color it has! Flawless like always! She also has great style and class. :)

STAY STRONG!

And Yes I'm A Dreamer..

Hey everyone!! So I haven't been able to take any good pictures of my outfits, partly because they aren't blogger worthy and partly because I was too lazy to take pictures. But I'll give you this little shot of my outfit. I decided to wear a vanilla colored button down (the color is a lot softer in person.) I paired it with black jeans and black heels. I also found this bow tie collar necklace just in time! I also scored it on sale so very happy about that!! I adore these simple chiffon button downs! They can be so effortless and well put together. For me it's a wardrobe essential from now on!

What is your wardrobe essential?

What I wore:
Blouse: Forever 21
Jeans: Avril Lavigne Abbey Dawn
Shows: Macys
Necklace Macys

If you're wondering about the title I got a bit inspired putting this outfit together
and to tell you the truth I truly am I a dreamer.

Primadonna by Marina and the Diamonds

The first time I heard Marina and the Diamonds I was shopping in Forever 21 and they played "Hollywood." I adored her voice and the beat of her music. But after downloading that one song I never searched her up again. We all have had moments in our lives when a certain genre of music has been more abundant in our ipods. Now the Indie/Soft music is coming back in to my life!
I'm obsessing over Primadonna, Marina's new single, after watching the music video I was instantly hooked!
Watch it here!

The Hunger Games: Book Review

Spoiler ALERT!!!! Watch it in theatres March 23,2012!!!
I'm sure everyone has heard or read The Hunger Games by Suzzane Collins. If you're looking for a quick, easy read to get you through the week with lots of action and suspense here it is! I couldn't put the book down once I started reading it and it literally took me four days to read it! I'm getting ansy waiting to buy the second and third instalment in this trilogy. Very anxious about watching the movie too! I have a soft spot for books that get the lucky shot of turning in to a movie!
Here's a quick summary of what you'll get yourself in to:
Katniss Everdeen, the main character of the action packed novel, is a young 16 year old girl who lives in this New country Panem. The USA had been at civil war and what rose after to unit 13 districts was Panem and the Capitol. One of the districts rebelled and was destroyed. District 13.
To keep the other districts in check every year the Capitol hosts The Hunger Games choosing randomly one boy and one girl tribute to fight against 23 others from every district. Only one survives and wins the games, winning means fame and riches.
We must remember that there is so much more poverty in the lower districts. They have no food, no money and their only jobs are the ones assigned to them.

This story really brings you in and makes you feel what the other characters are feeling.
Suzzane Collins is a great story teller. Can't wait to see what she brought to Catching Fire, the second book.

I Want To Be Your Obsession..

Hey everyone! So I'f you've checked my last post (It's up to YOU!) then you'll know I've been obsessing over this jumpsuit for a few weeks already!... Well I finally got it! I'm also happy because it was on sale and if you know anything about me it's that I truly love a good sale. Jumpsuits must be my favorite "outfit" because of how versatile, comfortable and easy they are to wear! The color on this one is gorgeous and it's super skinny at the ankle which for me it's the greatest thing! I paired this jumpsuit with a brown skinny belt, a brown tote and brown sandals. My hair was left naturally curly but I decided to pin half up. I also wore pearl earrings just for a more elegant look instead of super casual.
That's the fun part about these pieces, you can go casual or dress it up!

Jumpsuit: Material Girl

Book Review: Envy By Anna Godbersen

Spoiler Alert!!!!
Here we go reviewing the third book in the Luxe series by Anna Godbersen. Envy is about the life after Henry and Penelope get married. We see what each character feels and thinks as they go throw many difficult times in their lives. The story is wonderful and leaves you wnting more. Of course there are some very slow parts and the "Oh My God!" parts. The end is so romantic and heroic I just need to read the final book Splendor. If you have a chance for a quick easy fun romantic read pick this one up!

Stay tuned for Spledor.

Sushi Maki

Hey everyone! It's a little out of the usual fashion oriented post but I had to let you know about this new restaurant I've seen around Miami called Sushi Maki! It's the first time I went and ate there and believe me it was amazing! There's a very modern Japanese vibe going on with the low lights, mermaid and submarine covered walls and the fresh smell of spices in the air. Prices aren't too high and the service was great. I'm not a sushi person but I did have the Dragon Tails (breaded fried chicken and white rice with a special honey mustard sauce.) It was the greatest chicken ever in fact having one bite wasn't enough! There were so many dishes to chose from and if there is a Sushi Maki by your area go ahead and visit!
I totally recommend the Tempura Ice cream which comes with either grapes or strawberries.
Tempura Ice cream is fried ice cream, a nice crunchy outer shell and a cool soft ice cream ball inside! It was heaven and I can't wait to go back and have it again!

What's you're favorite restaurant?!

Adding Structure

Here's one of my outfits which was a dropped waistline green dress, very flowy and loose. I paired it with this navy blazer which was lined with a bright green silk but isn't showed in the pictures unfortunetley. I also added a thin coral chain necklace that has charms to each chain, no rings only silver round earrings. I curled my hair and wore natural make-up just to not over power the colors I already wore. Hope you guys like it! Let me know if you have any more ideas!

Blazer: Banana Republic
Necklace: Macys

A Hidden Treasure

Hey everyone! So this is my outfit today I wore a black pencil skirt, black pumps and paired it with this gray sweatershirt that has embellished pockets with pearls and rhinestones. I love this sweater shirt so much and have NEVER been able to wear it! When I first got it I didn't realize how short it was and never was into it until now! That's what happens when you search through your closet,
you find hidden gems! :)

Grey sweatershirt: H&M
Black Pencil Skirt: Ann Taylor
Black Pumps: Guess

My make up was super simple and I wore a light pink lipstick.
Have you found a hidden gem in your closet lately??

Inspiration Of The Day: Olivia

Olivia from What Olivia Did... is an amazing blogger/photographer/fashionista from London who I happened to stumble upon her blog just a few weeks ago and completely fell in love with her style! She is beautiful and inspires me to make an effort in the way I dress! What has inspired me the most is her ombre hair something I want to try out soon.

Who is your favorite blogger!?
