Packing For a Weekend Trip: Beach Ed!

Hello loves! So I have a bit of news! iMovie has gone wacko and it is giving me such a hard time to edit movies! After a few seconds of editing it will close on me. The only thing it does with no problem is exporting (thank god). But now I spend hours (days even) trying to edit videos. So I really hope you guys know I how much I love you and appreciate the effort! 

If anyone knows how to fix this then please let me know. I recently updated my MacBook to the newest version of OSX Mavericks which I think is why iMovie is being stupid. 

But enough about that! Let's talk about the new video I have in store for you guys!

Today I have a How To Pack for a Weekend Beach Trip/ What I'm Packing to my Weekend Beach Trip video! In this video I will show you what I'll be bringing and wearing on my five day trip to the beach! Summer is here and most people either vacation in tropical places or live in tropical (hot) places like I do. So I wanted to show you guys what I will be wearing. 

    I hope you guys enjoy this! If you do please let me know with a comment below! Tell me what YOURE packing on your trip and let me know if any of you are vacationing or have gone on vacation recently. I don't get to often since I'm in school (sucks!) but I will live through you guys! 

Like I said, I am taking summer courses which isn't too bad since it's only two days a week. I do wish I could just be lazy and stay at home or go out and do fun things, but I think it's better if I just hurry up and finish school instead of procrastinating. I'm almost half way done in getting my BA! It's pretty exciting! I'll be transferring schools in the Fall so I'll let you know what I think of my new school (a University!) in a few months.

Hello beauties! I'm sorry I have been away for so long. It's been very complicated as I am trying to decide what I want to do with my blog. OOTW: Vacation Edition

Hello everyone! SO I'm back from my week at the beach and it has been such a relaxing week. So happy the weather has been delightful and my family and I was able to enjoy the beautiful view of the ocean. I love staying on the beach, it's a time for me to just unwind and take a moment to stop everything in my life. I love resting on the sanding, reading a good book and sipping on pina coladas. It's the best fweeling in the world to not do anything at all. Summer vacation is halfway through and I have set myself a goal to take advantage of every single moment.

Beach Essentials

Hello everyone! I'm back from my vacation and decided to post about the few things I consider to be essentials at the beach! This summer I plan to head out to the beach a lot and usually vacation out there. So I want to def bring the least things possible and the most important things because at the beach you carry everything yourself. So let's begin!

Firs things first bring Sunscreen! It is so important to protect your skin from the powerful sun to avoid skin cancer as much as possible! I def need to protect my skin because I am so white and the sun burns me immedietly. 

The next is to bring a sun tanning lotion (with SPF). I love getting a tan but find it to be the most difficult thing ever. I burn so easily and peel fast. So I have found the best solution. Slather on sunscreen first and then spray the tanning oil with SPF after to get a nice bronze look. 

The next is a good book to entertain you for a few hours while you bake in the sun or relax under the shade. I like to bring something short and simple. This time I brought Pride and Prejudice one of my favorite movies! 

The following is a texture cream for the hair just incase you're not going home right after the beach. This is a great way to keep your hair tamed and with natural beach waves!

We also need to protect our eyes so bring a cute pair of sunglasses!

Fun In The Sun

Hello lovlies!! Hope you're having a great summer! When I went to the beach this past week I trully enjoyed myself! Something that hasn't happened in a long time. Went to the beach everyday, had a wonderful breakfast, enjoyed time with my family and at night chilled! I've been super stressed out about school and life. I actually forgot what is was to not have a care in the world. 

Here I show you a little bit of my trip, hope you guys like the pictures! I also have to mentin that the first picture is my favorite just cause my hair looks so awesome!! I actually dyed it a bit more so now the bangs and the rest of my hair is much lighter, but I have to dye it again cause I want the bangs and the tips to be blonde! Will show pictures when that happens!

Wall Flower

So on my trip last week I wore this super cute floral dress that I am so in love with!! I'm so happy I was able to buy it just two weeks before! It was perfect for the car trip since it was a four hour long trip! I wore flip flops, too lazy for anything else! and I also brought along my brown tote and beach bag which both are from H&M! 

You'll notice that this is the first time I'm wearing a hat! I actually love hats! But never have an appropriate time to wear them so I wore my fedora to the beach!

Spent a week at a hotel on the beach which was beautiful! Had a wonderful time with my family and now I'm finally back home in my own room and bed! 

I'm super happy to be back though I love the beach, I just have so much work to do! You guys are gonna have a hands on experience for the next few months of my life! I can't wait to share with you my amazing plans! For now I hope you like my simple Travel Outfit #2!

Sorry For The Sudden Absence....

Hello lovelies!! I'm so sorry but I will be away from my computer for about two work days and the weekend for a total of four days!! Which means no posts on Thursday or Friday! But this will give me some time to brainstorm on what to talk about next!! I hope you guys are having an amazing Summer!! I have yet to go to the beach! But I will let you know when that happens. For now I'm just going on vacation with my family and friends. I will post about what happened when I come back! For now enjoy my inspirational board. I always love these!

Let's Go To The Beach!

I always wonder how celebrities/models can look so fabulous at the beach. I go on look like a whale out of the water! -.- Who totally understands me?

Well I've been doing some research on how to look pretty good at the beach. (can't guarantee anything ladies! I have yet to try this out.)

Here are my Beach Tips:

1. Choose a swimsuit that you feel pretty/good/skinny in.

Color, style, fit is so important. I realize that now, I only like very slim fitting, one pieces for some reason that have low backs. I also prefer black or dark colors like navy blue. I have yet to find a brand that has perfect bathing suits everytime I shop but I have two bathing suits that are my favorite! one from Material Girl and the other from Kenneth Cole Reaction. 

2. Don't wear make up! 

I wore make up to the beach one time, what a fail! I looked like a racoon at the end of the day and there was no way to get it off! There is no point but if you want choose a waterproof mascara that you have tried out already.

3. Big and Cute Sunnys

These are a must to hide from the sun and look put together even without makeup! I never forget these and always whip them out when a camera is pointed.

4. Clear sunblock

Who wants to look like a snowman at the beach?? I love the clear spray on sports sunblock that dries super quick and lasts for hours! You gotta protect that lovely skin from the sun.

5. The Cover up

This can definitely make it or break it. If your swim suit is simple choose a dress or romper. If your suit has ruffles use a vest and shorts. If you have a bikini use a tank and shorts.
