Cozy And Fashionable

Fall Fashions - Cozy, Confident And High Fashion

If you are the type of fashion lover who looks forward to autumn, styles this fall are sure to please. Fabrics are making the biggest statement in fall fashions this season. The fashion accents rely heavily on fabric trends that range from soft cashmere to brushed wool and tweed that chase away autumn chills without sacrificing design and style.

Cozy Wool And Blends - High in Fashion Confidence

Another trend in autumn's fashions is the pairing of solids with patterns and plaids. In the haute couture world, two contrasting designs like a black and white chevron shorter length jacket is coupled with a trousers in contrasting herringbone by top designers. Look for these combinations to become the signature style statement of the season.

Sweaters, Ponchos, Capes, Scarves

No fashion ensemble for autumn can be considered complete without a sweater, cozy poncho, flowing cape and an accompanying long scarf for a pant coat or full-length top coat. Bulky sweaters are back in style and are worn in colors from delicate pastels to deep claret and chocolate. Another style trend are matching cardigan and pullover sets in cashmere and soft wool. Ponchos and capes are the perfect foil for windy autumn weather in the big city. They're comfortable and easy to feel ensconced in warmth. Long scarves are everywhere in beautiful animal prints and paisleys as well as the ever popular conservative black and navy.

Accessorize Your Way To High Style

No autumn wardrobe is complete without accessories and shoes. Pant boots and knee high boots accent long skirts and man-cut trousers for fall. Jewelry complements autumn fashions in chunky pieces of hammered metals and amber, onyx and a broad selection of other semi-precious gems for bracelets, necklaces and earrings. Oh and let's not forget. Hats are back and the brushed wool beret is racing to the top in camel, black, red and navy to match or contrast with outerwear and other accessories. Purses and handbags seem at odds with each other. Either they are barely there in size and weight or they are prominent shoulder and tote bags of regal proportions.

Tips For the Fashion Conscious

Fashion conscious women won't have to worry about choices this autumn. Delve into the autumn "you" and choose your favorites.
