Back to School: Fashion Essentials

Now that you guys have seen my college fashion haul I'm gonna share with you guys my school essentials fashion wise! These are a few of the things I find important to have for college.

1. Toms have been a savior for those days that my feet are just killing me and I have to be walking around all day. Something about the cushion inside of them makes it so comfortable! Plus theyre super cute in many different colors!

2. Printed cardigans keep you warms in the buildings and make your outfit stan out from all those basic tees out there. Now that Fall is coming up I hope to be wearing more of my printed cardi's!

3. Lipstick is a major essential! I have a few go-to lipsticks that just make my face look more alive and bright in the morning! You don't need a lot of makeup just some bright lipstick!

4. Sunglasses for those early morning classes when you're still half asleep and the sun is beating down on you while you walk to your next class or to your car. I always carry these with me since they are so cute!!

Outfits of the week 5 and College Outfits!

Hey everyone! This is the last OOTW I am doing for my August Challenge! As we can see we're already in September! Wow! I seriously can't believe it. So much has happened in the last nine months and the year is almost up!! I'll take the time now to tell you what's been going on in my life.

If you see my video you'll notice my first week of college is already over and it was pretty good. I don't know anyone in my classes but I expected that. My classes aren't too much fun lol I have Math in the morning and Psychology in the late afternoon. In October I will start having English classes in the early afternoon and I hope that one is interesting (mostly b.c of my love for writing!)

Classes are chill but at the same time at a high paced level. You seriously need to be paying attention and taking good notes. I also noticed that even though there are some people who don't dress up there are a lot of people who do!! (Guys included!) That was good to see. 

Well it's labor day weekend so we had a long weekend and that was fun to just relax.

I hope you guys liked my outfits! I tried to incorporate some different summer looks before Fall begins!

Back To School Series: Supplies Haul

Supplies is a favorite of mine cause I love to write and I love writing with good pens!! That 'good pen' feeling is so awesome that it makes you want to write more! Since I'm going to college I have to wait till the first day of class to see what other extra supplies I need. But for now I got the basics and here's a video! I hope you like it!

College Ready!

I really hope you guys like my video today! It's kinda like a vlog since I go into my plans for the next few weeks. You guys know I'm starting college in 3 weeks! I went to orientation today which was a little bit of a drag -.- But it had to be done! I have to chose my classes and all that but that's pretty easy. Will do it tomorrow. I have major plans not sure if you guys noticed my party planning post but that's exactly where I'm headed!! A grad party! Woot woot!! More on that soon, as soon as I get my packages! hehe :) It'll be awesome!

Mini College Series: The Fashion Queen Goes To College

Okay so I'm doing this mini college series because I'm super excited to be off to college and I think it will be helpful for any fashionista that is going to college for the first time. I'm learning all this as I go so forgive me if I get things wrong or they don't come out perfect!

This first series is going to be about how to transition from High School to College.

Everyone tells me that college is extremely different then high school. Everyone is there to learn and no one is looking at you, well I seriously can't believe it till I see it. 

People always look at others and there may not be such a close knit student body but I know that there are still cliques. I guess I'll find out when I get their. 

 Another thing people have said is that the teachers don't don't care if you come to class or not. 

I guess cause they get paid whether you're there or not. But I don't think that is the case. I think it depends on the teacher and whether you truly want to learn.

Let's also try and remember that college is bigger and more impersonal in my opinion. 

This means that it's abit harder to make friends, at least for me it is since I am a very shy person. I find it  difficult to go up to strangers and start talking. So for me I would get to know others by the 'friends of friends' method. 

I never went to high school but I always thought that it was the time to dress how you wanted and to express yourself through your clothes. This is why I don't understand why college would be so unfashionable! Like you're becoming an adult now why not dress the part! 

I know many wont want to use up their nice clothes but at least get some nice clothes for college. 

That's why you go on a make to school shopping spree! If you saw my post about the new school want list that's exactly what it was! 

Lastly, I seriously don't believe that college should be boring, or unfahionable. It should be fun! So take electives, try new things, meet new people. Find out something you never knew about yourself!

Remember this is the short period before you head into the real world, take advantage and use it to the max!
