Sorry For The Sudden Absence....

Hello lovelies!! I'm so sorry but I will be away from my computer for about two work days and the weekend for a total of four days!! Which means no posts on Thursday or Friday! But this will give me some time to brainstorm on what to talk about next!! I hope you guys are having an amazing Summer!! I have yet to go to the beach! But I will let you know when that happens. For now I'm just going on vacation with my family and friends. I will post about what happened when I come back! For now enjoy my inspirational board. I always love these!

Spots are another obsession of mine!

Aren't her shoes fabulous!? They always are!

This indie outfit is what inspired me to get my own green shorts. Now I just need a vest like this one!

Love these bright suits!

Let's Go To The Beach!

I always wonder how celebrities/models can look so fabulous at the beach. I go on look like a whale out of the water! -.- Who totally understands me?
Well I've been doing some research on how to look pretty good at the beach. (can't guarantee anything ladies! I have yet to try this out.)
Here are my Beach Tips:

1. Choose a swimsuit that you feel pretty/good/skinny in.
Color, style, fit is so important. I realize that now, I only like very slim fitting, one pieces for some reason that have low backs. I also prefer black or dark colors like navy blue. I have yet to find a brand that has perfect bathing suits everytime I shop but I have two bathing suits that are my favorite! one from Material Girl and the other from Kenneth Cole Reaction.

2. Don't wear make up!
I wore make up to the beach one time, what a fail! I looked like a racoon at the end of the day and there was no way to get it off! There is no point but if you want choose a waterproof mascara that you have tried out already.

3. Big and Cute Sunnys
These are a must to hide from the sun and look put together even without makeup! I never forget these and always whip them out when a camera is pointed.

4. Clear sunblock
Who wants to look like a snowman at the beach?? I love the clear spray on sports sunblock that dries super quick and lasts for hours! You gotta protect that lovely skin from the sun.

5. The Cover up
This can definitely make it or break it. If your swim suit is simple choose a dress or romper. If your suit has ruffles use a vest and shorts. If you have a bikini use a tank and shorts.

I don't own any of these pictures.

Inspiration Of The Day: Amanda Seyfried

Amanda is such an inspiration to me not only for her beauty and her voice but also her movie risks! I love that she looks innocent and fearless at the same time. I have never read or heard anything bad about her at all. Her acting skills are superb! I absolutely adore those giant blue eyes and her blonde hair! She is so beautiful! She has been in countless movies from scary to romantic.
Off the top of my head I remember her in Jennifer's Body, Dear John, Letter's To Juliet, Mamma Mia, In Time, and the amazing Red Riding Hood! She will also be in the upcoming movie
Les Miserables! I can't wait to see her in that!!

New Trend: Sailor Stripes

I'm so cheezy with my titles haha! But really, let's admit it stripes remind of us the Nautical theme and Sailors! At least to me they do and that's the story behind the title haha.
Well, if you've been with my blog since November 2011 I began a little monthly post of New Trends, Red Lips and Hot Pink Lips are the posts I did. But sadly I didn't continue until now! This time I'm bringing to you the super cute trend of stripes! Now this may not be in the magazines but it's definetly in my fashion book! And I will show you in the video 3 very simple and cute ways to wear stripes! :) Hope you like it!

The Top Of The Charts

Hello lovelies! I've rounded up the best of the best in my make up bag to show you guys my favorite products! Here are my reviews of the best products I've had in a veryyyy long time!

1. Maybeline Full N Soft Mascara: Ever since I was little I hated mascara! I hated my lashes so long that they looked like spiders and fake. No idea why but I still don't like it when mascara is too hard and thick. This mascara has to be the greatest of all time!! It makes your lashes look super duper full and long but not clumpy or overly thick! I absolutely love it and never leave the house without putting it on!
Lasted about three months and now I'm in desperate need of a new one!

2. MAC NW15 Studio Finish Concealer: Okay I'll admit it, I have NW 20 or 25 (the label has faded terribly). BUT I tried NW 15 and it is so much better for my white complexion and it deffinitely brightens my under eye circles! When I finish NW 20 I will deffinitely get NW 15. And It is SPF
It has lasted such a long time! I've had it for over 3 years now and now is when I'm beginning to see the bottom. Deffinitely worth your money!

3. Milani Color Brilliance Eye Pencils: These are magic! I adore the black one and use it as an eyeliner until I ran out after a few months. I have the Green, Aqua and Purple pencils and I'm on the hunt for another black one. They are always sold out!!

4. MAC Lipstick Girl About Town: I've been obsessed with this color ever since I got it. At first I didn't think much of it but after getting so many compliments (by girls looking for a color like this) I fell in love! It is now my go to lipstick when I'm feeling pretty dull and blah! It brightens up you face and looks amazing!

5. MAC Bronzing Powder in Matte: I love matte powders, especially bronzers because I can't stand glitter on my face unless it's my eyes. This is perfect and is dark enough to look sunkissed or super bronze! MAC always has amazing products worth buying.

Pretty Clothes and No Where To Go....

Sierra Kusterbeck from the band VersaEmerge is the Brash It Girl for Payless! I usually don't shop at Payless just because the shoes aren't my style or tall enough for me. But we were there to shop for children's shoes and I saw these two pairs in my size! I really wanted a pair in black also but I held myself back, only because it wasn't in my size lol! Brash is directed to teens with an edgy chic side who still want to be girly. When I saw these they reminded me of the Steve Madden Dynamite sandal heels and why not get a cheaper version that still looks just as nice! Brash also has these amazing suede wedges in a vibrant blue and pink! I'm seriously thinking of getting them! Oh btw these were on sale! Only twenty dollars! That was a steal!
The other few things I've purchased this month are from Marshall's, the two floral day dresses which are perfect for summer! And the two tanks are from T.J.Maxx which I've been looking for printed tops to spice up my basics. I also love stars! So it was perfect for me! Hope you guys like it!

Anyone got a steal this month??

DIY: Ankle Skinny Jeans

So this is my first actual DIY tutorial post! And even though I have a video up it doesn't explain it as well as pictures and titles do! So here we go: I've been dying for a pair of ankle skinny jeans in a mint color but have yet to find some that are in my price range. So I thought about it and came up with the idea of making some old jeans into ankle skinnys! It was perfect too because these jeans were too big and long for me. So I transformed them, here are the steps.

1. Get a pair of skinny jeans and make sure they fit you semi-loosly and preferably long at the legs.

2. Fold over how much you want to cut away.

3. Take off and lay flat to cut away.

4. Put the jeans on and make sure you're happy with the outcome.

5. Sew a hem at the seam (sew either by hand or sewing machine.)

6. You're ready to style them!

Watch out for my post on FRIDAY!! These ankle skinnys will be in the video post!

Young, Wild and Free

So this has to be one of my favorite "classy" outfits that I have ever worn! The nice and form fitting cheetah print skirt and the loose crisp blouse are perfect together! I also decided to curl my hair and I'm so glad I did because the outfit would NOT have been complete without it! I also decided to wear super simple makeup with a bold lip, Rebel by MAC.

I'm Not Just A Fashionable Lady

Alright girls, I'm here to discuss something very important to me! If you all read this I have no idea but here's a little bit about myself! I love to dance, jazz, ballet, latin, pop!! You name it I will dance it! This year I've been taking Lyrical Jazz class every week and in June I have a Recital! I am soo excited! It's been years since I danced! And now that I'm getting back into it I feel so accomplished! I've gotten my flexibility back, not fully but I'm getting there. It takes a lot of work and determination but I'm almost there! Next year I hope to take two Ballet classes and maybe get on pointe soon!
Well I just wanted to share with you guys the make up I will be doing for the show! Here's a quick video!
