Day to Night Winter Makeup 2014 (Glam Makeup)

Hello loves! Wow, I am finally reaching the end of this very painful semester. I love being an English major, but sometimes I wish I could take a breather. It's not easy spitting out three or more papers that each have to be five+ pages. But I will be talking more about that very soon.
Today I want to talk about my makeup for this Winter season. Last year I did two videos with very different makeup looks (that you can check out here and here). For this year I wanted to make a video that transitioned from Day to Night so it could be easy, simple, and effortless. I think this look is really quick and simple for those of you just starting out to experiement with makeup as well as for more advanced girls. I absolutely love earthy browns and gold for this time of year. It is a bit unexpected and neutral so you can play around with your lipstick shade. I always feel this time of year deserves a night pop of color on the lips.
I don't add any blush as I love only wearing bronzer, but if you prefer it than go right ahead and add your favorite! I would either go with Fleur Power by MAC or Breath of Plum by MAC as well as they are soft but buildable. My other lipstick choice would be Red Lizard by NARS to have the perfect shade of red.
Hope you guys like this video and don't forget next week my giveaway will begin!
I will announce prizes soon!

Product Review: benefit bad gal LASH mascara!

Hello lovelies! I am so happy it is Friday and I can kick back and relax for a bit before the week starts again. This semester is almost over in just a few weeks and I can't wait! It's been a very tough academic year and the transition from my small college to a giant state university has been a bit traumatizing. (I'm over it though lol). I think I will be doing a school series soon enough over the winter break so if anyone has questions for me please leave it down in the comments below!
Today I am reviewing for you guys one of my favorite mascaras! It is the benefit bad gal LASH mascara! I recently bought it in its travel size form for about fifteen dollars and it was completely worth every penny. I would love it even more if it was waterproof but I believe they have the full bottle version in waterproof. We will see. In this video I will show you a demo and a quick recap of how amazing this product works. It does everything a volumizing mascara should do and more.
I love it! Which mascara is your favorite?
-TheFashionQueen

BTW There will be a few changes going on here at TheFashionQueen so bare with me.
I will be revealing more exciting things soon like my 500 subbies giveaway!

Guest Post: Rouge's Top 4 Winter Staples!

Hey there and welcome back to the Fashion Queen Official! This post is part 2 of the collab I’m doing with the Queen herself. I’ve put together a post about my top 4 winter staples.  They are the Eco Tools Pure Complexion Facial Sponge (deep cleansing), Josie Maran Argan Oil, Kate Moss Edition Lipstick (01) and of course EOS Lip Balm in Blueberry Acai. Coupled together these products will make your winter a lot more bearable. Healthy and blemish free skin is your canvas, never forget that! Ever since I bough the facial sponge it has made a difference. The sponge initially comes hardened and then softens with water. I absolutely love it! You start off by applying soap to your skin, then apply water to the sponge and scrub away. It’s made out of very delicate fibers so it’s not abrasive on your skin. It’s great on sensitive and dry skin, thats what I love about it!
Next up we have the Josie Maran Argan Oil. If you haven't already tried it, I really hope after reading this post you will pop into your local Ulta/Sephora and definitely check it out! Argan Oil is pressed from the kernels of the Argan tree, native to Morocco. It can be used on your face or hair. A lot of people who suffer from acne have benefited from using this oil. Personally I have dry skin so I find that this oil is amazing and keeps my hydrated! I like to use it in my nighttime routine. My skin is still very much soft and not dry at all when I wake up. This can also be used as an eye makeup remover. Just dab some onto a cotton ball and swipe. Everything gone in one go, without the burn of hard chemicals.
Third item on the list is a lipstick from the Kate Moss collection. This is shade 01 and is a great red for all those holiday events. The formula is very nourishing so it won’t dry your lips. Speaking of lips how could one forget to purchase a lip balm for the winter? I picked this up and am in love with it! EOS lip balm in flavor Blueberry Acai, yes I said flavor because after applying it reminds me of blueberry muffins!

I hope you enjoyed this post! Thanks to Claudia for collaborating with me! Always a pleasure.

xoxo Rouge

Product Review: Tarte Cosmetics: Lights, Camera, LASHES Mascara!

Hey everyone! I know it's been quite a while. Well, school has been very tough for me and I have been swamped with midterms, research papers, and Shakespeare. Upper division classes are no joke people. I think I want to do a college series that will help incoming students get an idea of what college/uni is like from an English major's perspective. Interested?
Anyway, moving right a long. About two weeks ago now I went to a music festival here in South Florida called Coral Skies. It was the best day EVER! Not only did I spend it with amazing people and was I able to hear amazing music I also got to meet two of my favorite performances/ bands.... Jack Antonoff of bleachers and Cage the Elephant!! I hugged all of the members (omg Matt and Brad Shultz!) and Nick Bockrath gave me his autographed beer bottle, what!
It was the best night ever...
Okay, now we will talk about the real purpose of this video and post. In my Beauty Haul I showed you guys that I had recently purchased the travel sized mascaras from benefit and tarte. Today I will be showing you a demo of the tarte mascara: Lights, Camera, LASHES! It was amazing and elongated my lashes so much with only two coats. I absolutely loved this mascara so much. The travel size is about $15 I believe. It is also very easy to take off the eyes and the brush application is perfect and gets into the small lashes at the corners without staining my lids.
This mascara gets two thumbs up!

Sephora + Mac Haul plus the Giveaway Winners!

Hey everyone! School has been very chaotic ( and I feel like I say this everytime but it is true!) But I do love all my english classes still, though they can be quite hard. Midterms are over and done with and now we are just on the second half of the semester that will most probably fly by.
Today I am bringing to you guys another Sister Series! We are going to show you guys the new products we will be trying out and if anyone wants a review on these then just leave a comment down below! Also, my sister will be helping me choose the winners for my giveaway so stay tuned till the end. I also added some hilarious bloopers so if you'd like to see more of our crazy side then keep watching!

BTW I wanted to ask if anyone is interested in the topic of feminism? I feel like it is a hot topic noaways, but a lot of people don't really know what it is or means? If anyone would like a video on my thoughts on that then let me know!

For now, enjoy this weeks video right here!

Marshmallow Challenge!

Hey everyone! How has your week been? I love Wednesdays, it's the middle of the week and you're so much closer to Friday. After today it feels like the days fly by. School has been pretty crazy. I have midterms tomorrow and I can't explain how stressed I am (well, anyone that has been to college knows). But we all must do what we must to get ahead in life. For me that is school.
But earlier this week I was able to take some time off and film this super fun video with my sister! I had been dying to do another Sister Series video and make it extra fun! So I searched on the internet a bit and decided that I would do a "How Well Do We Know Each other" challenge mixed with a "Chubby Bunny" challenge. For every wrong answer we would have to stuff a marshmallow in our mouths and keep it there. The laughs and unexpected occurences are perfect. Haha!
I hope you guys like this video and find it just as entertaining and fun.

BTW If you have yet to enter my MAC Lipstick Giveaway go ahead an enter now! It will be up till October 17, 2014 (this friday!) And I will announce the winner in my next video! Good Luck!

GRWM: One Direction + GIVEAWAY!

Hello! Hello! I am so excited for this post! I have been waiting years to go to a One Direction concert and it finally happened this past Sunday, October 5, 2014! It was such an incredible experience and I loved every moment of it. Unfortunetly I arrived late at the stadium they were performing at because of how many people were going, why didn't I think to leave earlier! That will forever piss me off especially since I missed more than half of the opening act which was 5 Seconds of Summer! The songs I did hear from them were She looks so perfect (omg can you say amazing), Good Girls, and Amnesia (cries, just cries). There was another song but I can't remember the name right now...
Anyway! They were amazing and I'm currently trying to find tickets to their next show which is next year! I am seriously obsessed with them and their alt-rock vibe.

But then their performance ended and we waited for One Direction to come out (which took an hour, not too bad really). When they finally did they started off with Midnight Memories (one of my favorites). I loved that every few songs they would stop and talk to the audience a bit and just tell us all how much they loved us and how thankful they were for our support. As cheesy as that may seem and sure they might say it to every crowd, they make it seem so special and I ate up every bit of it.
Now, I'm not sure if any of you know but out of all five boys I am completely obsessed with Niall. His blonde hair and his cute Irish accent have got me swooning. Everytime I get to hear him sing I just get these tiny butterflies in my stomach. I loved that he showcased his voice a lot in the concert (everyone is always saying how his mic never works or that they don't give him a lot to sing, but he really shined in this performance *sigh*). They sang "Little Things" which was beautiful and everyone had their phones out and the crowd looked like a sea of twinkling stars. It was so amazing. I also loved their performance of Happily, Better Than Words (omg hot), and Story Of My Life. They sang so many songs from their previous albums that I was just so hyped up I couldn't believe it.
I have to say it has been one of my favorite concerts and I can't wait to go again.
Unfortunetly this was their last performance here in the States for the WWA tour, but they'll be back, I know, to promote their new album Four!

Here are some pictures of my outfit and the GRWM video that I made to go along with this special day. ALSO I am doing a giveaway because I wanted to thank everyone who has been supporting me throughout the year. I finally reached 400 subscribers (and passed it!) and I thought the best way to thank you was to giveaway my favorite product and brand a MAC Lipstick! There will be 2 winners, yes 2 winners! And each will be able to decide which shade of lipstick you'd like to recieve from the list of four that I will put down below. You may ask why I am choosing these four? Well, I recently did a MAC Lipstick Favorites for the Fall and wanted to incorporate some of those as well as some that I love for the Winter. It is also a little bit easier for me if I already know what range the lipsticks will be at. If you'd like to win please leave a comment on my youtube video and subscribe.
I will be choosing the winner October 17, 2014 at 11:59 pm ET. The winner will be announced in my next video on October 21, 2014 (and they will have 48 hours to respond to my message. If they don't then I will choose a new winner).
This giveaway will be USA only but I promise that I will be doing an international giveaway very soon! I love all of you so much and I want to thank you all! Hope you enjoy the video!

Fall Makeup Tutorial '14

Hey everyone! It's the first day of October! I am so in the mood for cozy sweaters, chunky scarves, and my combat boots! I love this change of weather (even though down here in MIA it's not so noticeable). This time of year I usually travel up to NYC and vacation in the Big Apple which is my favorite place to be at in the fall time. But school is a bit in the way so we will see if that is possible this year. For now I will occupy myself with making Fall inspired videos!
This week I have for you guys my Fall Makup Tutorial which was inspired by the one and only Cara Delevingne! There were two makeup looks that caught my attention. The first was the one below with sultry, cranberry eyes and a nude lip. The second was the following picture with a deep burgundy-red matte lip and a smokey brown eye. I took inspiration from both pictures and fused them together in my final look.
Now, I used fake lashes in my final look but you all know that that is optional. I also give you two choices for the lips as I know some may not like to go too dark or too drastic. I love the final outcome and hope you do too! Leave me a comment down below with your thoughts?
Enjoy!

My Favorite MAC Lipsticks for the Fall 2014

Hello everyone! Hope everyone is having a wonderful day!
I have been hard at work filming and editing my videos for you guys trying to come up with the best content possible. I love filming and being able to incorporate my beauty/fashion obsession has been so much fun! I think it's noticeable when someone is doing something they love. You can just see it in their face and hear it in their voice.
A few weeks ago I unleashed my Mac Lipstick Collection which was so crazy to film, but probably my favorite video ever. This week I am bringing to you my top 6 Mac Lipsticks that I will be wearing for the Fall time this year [2014]. I do have to mention, it was very difficult choosing from my collection. I love them all and don't really follow trends on what is in to wear (same goes with nailpolish and clothes). But for the sake of this video I limited myself to 6 of my favorite fall appropriate colors that I think you guys would like and also aren't the most common choices. Nothing like switching everything up for the new season.
Would you guys like to see my Winter Lipstick choices?
Leave your answer in the comments below!

BTW I have moved my closet shop to this new store called Vinted
It is amazing and I absolutely love how easy it is to buy and sell.
Check out my store! I will be posting more items soon :)
Enjoy the video and let me know which lipstick is your favorite for the fall time?

GRWM: First Day Of School '14

Hey everyone! Today I am updating you guys with my Get Ready With Me video where I show you guys what I wore on my First Day of School. But before I do I just want to mention how it went.
If you guys keep up with my twitter rants then you'll know that I have recently graduated from my college with an Associate's degree in English. I finished in the summer and transfered into my public state university for the fall semester. To be honest it was a very crazy (almost tramatic) experience and I'll tell you why.
I have always been a very shy, introvert kind of person. I keep to my self all the time and don't like change, at all. I was use to going to school just two minutes from where I live. I was use to going to classes with my sister and only having classes in the mornings or afternoons. It was a very chill two years for me. It was a nice transition from being homeschooled to actually going to school.
But that school (my community college) was nothing compared to my state university. It has ten times more students, a bigger campus, and more difficult classes. Instead of driving only two minutes I now drive twenty-five minutes to get there and another twenty-five to come back, for two days a week. That's 100 minutes or an hour and ten minutes a week. Incredible jump from the ten to fifteen minutes I would spend in a week driving to my community college.
Maybe this isn't so drastic for other people, but for me it was. Especially since I have anxiety driving. Add on my social anxiety and it is a party twice a week. The rest of the week I'm busy worrying about school and doing homework. Most of the homework I don't even finish (it's mostly reading literature and books, but since I have three english classes it's hard to read everything before the day of. I usually have an hour break and take advantage to catch up on the pages assigned).

But it's not all bad. I love the classes I'm taking which are Medieval Literature, English Grammar, and Shakespeare Histories. All of my professors are extremely nice and understanding. They are available to speak to you and help you understand the material. All three are challenging classes and push you to break away from your comfort zone as a writer and as a being.

So now that I have gone off on my tangent I hope you guys understand me a little bit more throughout the next two years of my life at my new school. Soon it won't be my "new" school haha.
For more updates follow me on twitter via the button at the top of this page.
Hope you enjoy my video and acquire ideas for a makeup look or outfit for school.

Product Review: L'Oreal Miss Manga Mascara

hey everyone! Today I have a product review for you guys. I know, I know, I am always reviewing mascaras. Well you know what? I love long, huge, volumenous lashes. Next mascara I want to try is a higher end one, maybe Too Faced? Any recommendations are appreciated.
Well, the one I am demo'ing for you all today is the L'Oreal Miss Manga Mascara, the waterproof version in black. As you can see in the video, I absolutely hate the application/brush. What's the point in buying something that is uber goopy and you have to wipe just to use? That makes absolutely no sense to me. Plus I hate when the wand is flexible.
I do, however, like the way my lashes look after using this mascara. I believe that if I use a bit more product my lashes will look even thicker.
Hope you guys enjoy the review/first impression and let me know if you have ever tried this product!

OOTW: Last Week of Summer 2014!

Hey guys, so I'm a little late in writing this post as those of you who follow my youtube will know. I'm really sorry about that! I hope that in the next few days/weeks I will be able to get back into the swing of things. But to start off this post I want to mention that I am so sad that summer is over! Summer has to be my favorite season (close second comes spring and fall).
I spent my last week vacationing at the beach with my family as well as going to a 30 Seconds to Mars concert! Which I filmed a GRWM already if you'd like to see it.
I hope you guys enjoy my lookbook and let me know in the comments below which outfit you like the best.

GRWM: 30 Seconds to Mars Concert! Makeup + Hair

hey guys! I just wanted to update the blog and add one of my new videos! Now I will finally be able to talk about my experience at my first 30 Seconds To Mars concert!! Ahhh!! I am kinda bummed that I didn't film a clip of me talking about the concert and usually I do. I guess because that same night my mom and I drove up to meet my dad and sister at our vacation spot since we were going on vacation that same week. I must have gotten very flustered with how much I needed to do. I had just finished my last semester in college and was so busy transfering to my new University (more on that later) that filming an intro completly slipped my mind. Bare with me then!
So I purchased VIP passes through a company called Adventures in Wonderland. Originally I believed that I was only going to have my picture taken, get a T shirt, and 30 STM would do a Questions and Answers portion. To my surprise we also got autographs, and stickers as well as fans with their heads on them (I only was able to get a Tomo head since the rest were completly gone when I finally found the booth! But that's alright, I love them all equally).
The experience was incredible! The three of them showed up and answered questions for almost twenty minutes. Then everyone got in line to get autographs (only 1 per person unfortunately which I think is silly. I had brought my cd cover anyway because you never know.) When I stood in front of them, everything was pretty much a blur. I introduced myself and They said hello. Shannon was so adorable telling me that his name was Shannon. I laughed and said, "Well, yes, of course I know that." As if he wasn't a rockstar haha!
The three of them are super down to earth, funny, and sweet. BTW Jared's eyes are real people! They are so clear and blue! But don't worry Shannon I love your eyes as well! I love all three of you!
Tell Tomo that he needs to take off his sunglasses next time.
After when everyone got their autographs we all got in line to take our professional picture. It was such a dream to be able to touch them! There are many regrets like why I didn't ask for a hug or a selfie! Why Claudia! Why!
I only hope that there is a next time so that I can try again and hopefully my best friend can come with me!.
After they left and I waited for the concert to start. They are so incredbly talented. The performance was amazing, the vocals were on point (despite Jared saying he hadn't sung in weeks and this would be the first time. It was also the first stop on the tour so what an amazing thing to open the tour with us here in FL!)
Over all the experience was amazing and wonderful and I can't wait to do it again.
Here I will show you my hair and makeup for the concert but next week I will show you my outfit and all the outfits I wore on my vacation. Hope you guys enjoy it!

MAC Lipstick Collection!

Okay guys, I have spent the past three days filming, editing, and preping this video post for you guys. I really hope you like it. I have been putting off filming this video for so long because I knew it would be very difficult and time-consuming. Boy was it! I had over 60 minutes of footage and you all know (if you follow me on twitter) that my computer doesn't have much space for all this HD film. Recently I updated my Imovie which has helped a lot. But because my computer is so slow it takes a long time for me to edit a video. Especially one that has so many different clips! Ahhh, talk about hair pulling! Anyway, it was so much fun to film it and try out all my lipsticks. But my lips were burning by the end of it haha. I really hope you enjoy it! Any questions, comments, or requests please leave them in the box below!
Love you guys!

Sister Series: Sister Tag!

Hey everyone! Okay, I'm a bit late updating the blog, but I have a good reason! When I was uploading these videos I was in complete "relaxation-mode" and could not find the will-power to get up and write a post. It's already enough work trying to film, edit, and upload the videos! Hope you guys can forgive me!
But to update everyone a bit, I have recently started a new year in a new University! This past summer I finished my Associates Degree in English and decided to transfer to a new school to finish my Bachelor in English. Finally I can simply concentrate on my English courses instead of doing all those other undergrad requierements. If anyone wants to hear an indepth story of my experiences then please let me know! I think I want to start a college series on my channel to help out anyone going to college/uni.
So I started classes again August 26 and it has been pretty crazy since I have classes from 8 AM - 3:15 PM, but by the time I get home it's 4:20 PM. I am so not use to this at all! But I'll deal for the next few months. I'm already thinking about next semester's schedule and how I should organize myself. Oh the struggle. lol.
There is also the fact that I have to pencil in time to film, edit, upload, AND blog. But I never feel up to it after a long day of school. So the weekends are the only times I can do it. (After I finish all my homework).
But I shall not complain! I really like all my classes! (Want more details? Let me know in the comments below!)
Okay! So today I am bringing to you another video in the Sister Series! It is the Sister Tag! It was so much fun doing this and spending an hour going through the questions, laughing, and joking with my sis. I really hope you guys like it and take a peek into what we are truly like in our natural state haha.
If you'd like to see more Sister videos or have ideas/requests, PLEASE leave them down below or on my video because I would totally appreciate it! :D

Pumped Up! Colossal Volum'Express Mascara Review + Demo

Hey guys!! I am so loving my new mascara and wanted to share with you guys my first hand experience with you on camera. Today I will be showing you guys the new Pumped Up! Colossal Volum'Express Mascara from Maybelline. It claims to have 16X more volum and has a new innovative curved brush.
Here are my thoughts. I wish I had found this in a waterproof version and at the moment I'm not even sure they make that kind. If they did it would work even better. I feel as if it does give me a lot of length and even volume, the two main qualities I look for in a mascara. If you'd ever tried Maybelline's One by One mascara it is sort of like that but with added volume. I love that it doesn't clump and it holds the curl pretty well, for a non-waterproof mascara. Over all I loved the mascara and I don't say that often!

Do you have a product you'd like me to review? Please leave it in the comments below!

My Everyday Makeup Routine For Dry Skin

Hello girls, so today I wanted to share with you guys my Everyday Makeup Routine for Dry Skin. I have been suffering with dry skin for the past few years and in particular with dry spots or patches. I have no idea why this is happening and neither does my dermatologist. But I have to deal with it anyway. To do that I have a routine I like to follow to give my face moisture. I also avoid using so much makeup because the more makeup there is on your face the more it can stick to your dry areas.
Though this is not a skincare routine, but if you'd like to see one please leave a comment down below and I will be more than happy to do one for you.
Well, back to the video! I prepare my face by first putting on a moisturizer that has SPF. I've been using Cetaphil as well as Ponds Face Cream which are both good enough for now. Then, I am using a BB Cream because it is light and natural on my face while still giving me good coverage. My favorite is the L'Oreal BB Cream in the shade Light. After I still have to cover up my dark circles so I'm using the Maybelline Fit Me concealer with a beauty blender. Sponges are my best friend when it comes to putting on any sort of liquid makeup on my face. They smooth and buff all at the same time without rasing the dry flakes up.
After I prime my eyes, to keep them from getting slick with oil throughout the day, with MAC's paint pot primer in the shade Painterly. Such a gorgeous neutral that works as an everyday base. After I curl my lashes and apply my mascara. This time I am using Maybelline's One By One mascara.
After I do my brows, sometimes I fill them in and sometimes I don't so it really depends on you.
The next step is setting my concealer with translucent powder from BareMinerals. This one also has SPF. I only set my concealer because my undereye creases alot. But the rest of my face is pretty matte/dry so there is no need. The last step is bronzing. I have been loving Casino by NARS sooo much! I know everyone has Laguna (I have never tried it to be honest) but my sister bought Casino and it was too light on her. I find that it is perfect for me and I just need to have a light hand when using it.
This step is optional but to complete my look I decided to add one of my favorite everyday lipsticks. This one is a Limited Edition from the Playground collection by MAC it's called Red Ballon. It's such a gorgeous mix between pink and red that it suits daytime so wonderfully.
It is up to you which color you'd like to wear or if you'd want to wear a neutral.

This is the completed look and I hope you guys like it!

Summer Lookbook 2014

Hello loves! Today I am bringing you my Summer Lookbook for 2014! It was so much fun filming this lookbook for your guys and I really hope you enjoy it. Now I don't have any good photos so you guys will have to watch the video to find out what outfits I have come up with for the three events of the summer. I decided to just show you three outfits because I feel like these can be switched up to suit any event or outing. I love these staple pieces I have chosen and I hope you do too!

Makeup:
Mascara: Full N' Soft Maybelline waterproof mascara
Nars Casino Bronzer
Lipstick: Pure Zen by MAC
(Mik NYX Eyeshadow Pencil)

Outfit 1: Beach/Pool Outfit
Top: Marshalls
HW Shorts: Zara
Flipflops: Havanas
Bracelets: Surf Shops
Sunglasses: Forever 21
Tote: H&M

For this outfit I wanted to go for something fun and practical. I tied my hair in two braids and also put some white dots on my face (such a huge trend in Cochella and I just had to imitate it!).  I love highwaisted shorts as well and think they look super cute! If you wear them to the beach than they can easily be glammed up for a lunch/dinner date after! I also wore an anchor anklet (though it isn't shown) but I absolutely love wearing anklets in the summer! Like I mentioned, this outfit is perfect for the beach, pool, or a trip to an amusement park!

Outfit 2: Chilling With the Girls

Top: Zara
Skirt: Macys
Shoes: Dolce Vita
Necklaces: Forever 21
Bag: Zara
Sunglasses: Forever 21

This is one of my most worn outfits!! I love maxi skirts in the summer because it gives you the option of wearing something flowly and breezly while still covering up your legs if you haven't shaved yet. (yes I base my clothes on whether or not my legs are decent to be seen haha). This is a super comfortable outfit that you can wear anywhere: the mall, movies, lunch, chilling with your friends. I also wore my hair up in a bun and show case my blonde streak. Everyone has been doing ombre but I've been thinking about doing something different. There will be more on that soon!

Outfit 3: Summer Date

Dress: Marshalls
Shoes: Steve Madden
Earrings: Forever 21
Bracelets: H&M and Forever 21

The last outfit is super cute for a date whether it takes place day or night. I love these floral dresses, and you can get them super cheap at Marshalls or Forever 21. They can be worn with flats or wedges (I think wedges are a bit more casual and fun) and I love having my hair down with its natural curls. Its very carefree and relaxing.

I hope you guys enjoyed this video! Please let me know which outfit is your favorite and where you would wear it to!!??

4 Easy + Fun Summer Hair Ideas!

Hello beautifuls! Today I want to show you guys some of my favorite ways to style my hair. My hair is about 5-6 inches below my shoulders so I consider it to be medium to long hair. Today I'll show you four easy and cute ways to style your hair. I hope you guys like it!

1. Messy Side Braid (regular 3-strand braid)
Pull hair to one side of the face. Begin to braid hair (fishtail, figure eight, 3/4/5 strand braids ect).
Loosely pull braid until desired messiness is achieved.

2. Faux Bob
Part hair into two sections and clip or pin ends of hair into roots. Do the same for the other side.
And don't forget the hairspray!

3. Low Pony Tail
Pull hair into the base of the neck and tie with elastic. This can be achieve with a slick back/wet hair look or a messy pony. Take a small strand of the pony tail and wrap around the elastic.

4. Faux Crown Braid
Take your bangs (or side hair) and begin to twist into rest of hair. Pin or clip at desired area.

Hot Pink Summer Lipstick Dupes!

Hey guys! Today I have my second Lipstick Dupe video!! I loved my Fall edition to this one (link will be below) so I decided to do a Summer edition that mostly concentrated on pink! I think Hot pink is very flirty, girly and suits any girl. It is also less intimidating then red or purple. I chose two of my favorite semi-highend lipsticks and compared to drugstore brands that had the exact formula (or at least close to it.)
Mac is my favorite brand to buy lipstick from. I think their consistentency, pigmentation, and longevity is the best. I also think NARS lipstick are just as amazing but they are on the priceier side ($24 a pop while Mac is $16).
NYX is a drugstore brand that has proven themselves to be very pigmented and long lasting. I absolutely love the creaminess of the lipsticks with a matte finish. Both of the lipsticks I chose are very similar to their higher end counter parts. Shocking pink by NYX is my favorite out of all of them.
Let me know in the comments what lipstick is your favorite!?
