DIY: Ankle Skinny Jeans

So this is my first actual DIY tutorial post! And even though I have a video up it doesn't explain it as well as pictures and titles do! So here we go: I've been dying for a pair of ankle skinny jeans in a mint color but have yet to find some that are in my price range. So I thought about it and came up with the idea of making some old jeans into ankle skinnys! It was perfect too because these jeans were too big and long for me. So I transformed them, here are the steps.

1. Get a pair of skinny jeans and make sure they fit you semi-loosly and preferably long at the legs.

2. Fold over how much you want to cut away.

3. Take off and lay flat to cut away.

4. Put the jeans on and make sure you're happy with the outcome.

5. Sew a hem at the seam (sew either by hand or sewing machine.)

6. You're ready to style them!

Watch out for my post on FRIDAY!! These ankle skinnys will be in the video post!
